A Women's Double Breasted Coat is the most traditional and slightly more formal coat option. The two layers of fabric on your front give you extra warmth during cold winter days.
Our Stylist's Recommendations for Double-Breasted Coats
Many of you know that our stylist Teresa recommends the most canonical and classic options, despite her being a fashion victim and not following many of the rules herself. According to her, you should wear double-breasted coats, always buttoned down if you got it tailored to slim fit. (In case you got them in a straight fit, you can wear them unbuttoned too to get a trendy touch to your outfit)
Our recommendations according to this year's trends are long and wide lapels. In case you want to make it long, we strongly recommend you to go to the straight fit as the coat will autumn beautifully from your shoulders to below your knees.
On the other hand, one of the designs we like the most is what we called the wool trench coats. If you take one of our double breasted coat designs, just select the classic lapels and add a belt, you get a wool trenchcoat. We recommend to keep it slim fit so the effect when you knot the belt is just perfect.
And what about the military double breasted coat? Just choose your coat in our green fabric, classic lapels, 12 buttons, shoulder epaulettes and sleeve straps and change the buttons to metallic ones.
