What is the difference between a blouse and a shirt?
Although shirts and blouses are often thought to be similar, they have more differences than similarities. In fact, there are 3 main differences: The fullness, the buttons and the style. A blouse compared to a shirt offers more fullness, providing more comfort, while a shirt usually has a tight fit. A shirt has a full-line vertical closure of buttons, while the blouse offers more flexibility in that area and does not neccessarily always come with buttons. Moreover, the clothing pieces provide different styling options.
